Spiced nuts

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Cups Pecan halves
  • 1 Cup Walnut halves
  • 1 Cup Unbalanced almonds
  • 1 Cup Hazelnuts/filberts Can sub macadamia nuts
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Grated rind of large orange
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Egg white
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon Cold water

Instructions

  1. Blend sugar, orange, and spices together.
  2. Beat egg white and water 2 minutes.
  3. Fold spices into egg white and toss with nuts until well blended. Spread onto baking sheet and bake 45 minutes @ 275 stirring every 15 minutes.
